In another case also involving Deputy Brian Hubbard, a Ray Clifton was released on a $2,500 bond after he was charged with multiple counts of allegedly distributing methamphetamine two counts each of spotlighting deer with the intent to shoot, hunting from a motor vehicle, discharging a firearm from a roadway, illegal possession of deer not reported. One count each hunting without a license, hunting without a big game license, and trespassing.

We believe that Magistrate Shannon Cauley did this as a favor to Deputy Brian Hubbard. There was no real investigation and no evidence other than what Deputy Williams pre-concocted with the Cummings (see here). Deputy Hubbard was involved in directing the alleged investigation that involved his tenant and rental property
